Aisha Hinds, an American actress best famous for her role in the television series The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003, she has proven her range as an actress by giving amazing performances on TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. Her performance on Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the very first role to draw her attention. However, it was her performance as Fannie Lou (a female activist fighting for equality) in the biographical All the Way film that brought her fame as an actor. Hind was also recognized for her role as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical show, the drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 9-1-1 has been renewed for the third season, thanks to 20th Century Fox Television. In the last few days, Hind wrapped filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters due to release mid-2019. Her father Krishnaraj was an Army scientist, who passed away on the 18th of March, 2017, and her mother Vrinda are both domestic helpers. Her older brother is Aditya Rai, who is a merchant navy engineer. His brother wrote and produced Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mother. The actress attended Arya Vidya Mandir High School in Mumbai where her family had moved to. After finishing her studies for intermediate through Jai Hind College, she enrolled at D.G. Ruparel College, Matunga. She scored 90% in her H.S.C. exams. She spent five years during her teenage years studying classical dance and music. Her preferred subject was Zoology. Bachchan was studying architectural studies when she was elected Miss World in 1994. She was ushered into modeling's elite by winning the title. It was lucrative for her to be employed by PepsiCo Inc. and Vogue magazine and also an ambassador contract with L'Oreal Paris in 2003. Her acting career got off in a positive direction with praised roles for her in Iruvar (1997) and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Both films defied the basic model that defined Bollywood film at the time propelling Bachchan onto the forefront of the New Bollywood. Bachchan became the Queen of Bollywood thanks to her role as Paro the lover who was betrayed in Devdas The film was among Bollywood's most successful films. Also, it was the first Bollywood film to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Following that she received high praise for her role the character Chokher Bali (2003) a tense drama inspired by Rabindranath Tagore's classic novel. This year she was named the first Indian actor on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan was first seen in Gurinderchadha's Bride and Prejudice, a musical and dancing adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan could bring her stunning beauty and charisma in her debut English film. In 2006, Bachchan made her return to Bollywood with the hit movie Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story in English. She was married to Abhishek Bachchan who was a co-star who is the father of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage brings two of India's top and most influential individuals together.
